Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

1. General Submission Guidelines

  1. Originality: Articles submitted should be original and not under consideration or published elsewhere. Any similarity with previously published work should be properly cited.
  2. Length: The manuscript should typically not exceed 8,000 words, excluding references, tables, and figures. However, longer articles will be considered based on their quality and relevance. In general the article size must be below 15 pages (16 Pages including References).
  3. Language: Manuscripts should be written in clear, formal English language.
  4. File Format: All submissions should be in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) format. LaTeX users may submit in PDF format, but Word files are preferred for easier editing.
  5. Document Structure: Manuscripts should be structured in the following manner:
    • Title of the article (up to 15 words, exclude Jargon words)
    • Author detail (name of the author followed by affiliation)
  • Email of authors and co-authors
  • ORCID of authors and co-authors
    • Abstract (200-250 words)
    • Keywords (5-7 words)
    • Main Body
      • Introduction
      • Literature Review (if applicable)
      • Methodology
      • Results
      • Discussion
      • Conclusion
    • References
    • Appendices (if applicable)
  1. Article Structure and Numbering System

2.1 Title Page

  • Title of the Article: Concise, descriptive, and not more than 15 words.
  • Author(s): Full names with affiliations, followed by corresponding author email.
  • Corresponding Author: Please specify the corresponding author and their contact details.

2.2 Abstract

  • Content: The abstract should provide a brief summary of the research aim, methods, key results, and conclusion.
  • Word Limit: 200-250 words.

2.3 Keywords

  • Content: Provide 5-7 keywords that represent the core focus of your research.

2.4 Main Body

  1. Introduction (Heading 1)
  • Introduce the research topic and its relevance.
  • Provide the background, objectives, and scope of the study.
  • End with a statement of the research problem or hypothesis.
  1. Literature Review (Heading 1)
  • A review of existing literature relevant to the research topic.
  • Discuss theories, models, frameworks, and studies that inform the research.
  • Provide a clear gap that your research aims to fill.
  1. Methodology (Heading 1)
  • Research Design: Describe the overall design of your study (qualitative, quantitative, or mixed methods).
  • Sample and Data Collection: Provide details of the study sample, selection criteria, and how data were collected.
  • Data Analysis: Outline the statistical or thematic analysis used to interpret the data.
  1. Results (Heading 1)
  • Present the research findings with appropriate statistical tables, graphs, or qualitative data, as necessary.
  1. Discussion
  • Interpret the results and compare them with existing literature, highlighting new contributions.
  • Discuss the implications, limitations, and potential for further research.

 

  1. Conclusion (Heading 1)
  • Summarize the key findings.
  • Discuss the practical implications, policy recommendations, and areas for future research.

2.5 References (Heading 1)

  • Use APA 7th Edition referencing style using any one of the referencing tool Zotero, Endnote or Mendeley.
  • References should be listed alphabetically at the end of the manuscript.

In-text Citation Format:

  • Single Author: (Smith, 2020)
  • Two Authors: (Smith & Jones, 2020)
  • Three or More Authors: (Smith et al., 2020)
  • Direct Quote: (Smith, 2020, p. 15)

Reference List Format:

  • Books: Smith, J. (2020). Title of the Book. Publisher.
  • Journal Articles: Smith, J., & Jones, R. (2020). Title of the article. Journal Name, 5(2), 123-145. https://doi.org/xxx
  1. Tables and Figures
  • Table Numbering: Tables should be numbered consecutively above the Table in APA Style (e.g., Table 1, Table 2, etc.). Tables must be cited in the text.
  • Figure Numbering: Figures should also be numbered consecutively below the Figure in APA Style (e.g., Figure 1, Figure 2, etc.) and must be referenced in the text.
  • Placement: Tables and figures should be placed in the manuscript where they are first mentioned in the text. Ensure they are clear and of high quality for print.
  • Legends and Captions: Provide a concise caption for each table and figure.
  1. Appendices
  • If necessary, appendices should be placed at the end of the article, following the references section. They should be clearly labeled (Appendix A, Appendix B, etc.) and referred to in the main text.
  1. Review and Submission Process
  1. Submission: Manuscripts should be submitted through the journal's online submission system.
  2. Desk Review: Managing Editor and Editors will scan with the adherence to the journal guideline and will provide preliminary review report. Desk review can reject the articles if it is not matched with the scope of this journal and below the standard.
  3. Peer Review: All submitted articles passed desk review stage undergo a double-blind peer-review process. Authors asked to make revisions based on reviewer feedback before final acceptance.
  1. Ethical Guidelines
  • Authors must ensure the integrity of their work by citing sources appropriately and avoiding plagiarism.
  • Research involving human participants or animals must comply with ethical guidelines and obtain the necessary approval from relevant bodies (e.g., Institutional Review Board or Ethics Committee). If researcher’s institution has IRC then he/she should obtain ethical approval from their institution.
  1. Plagiarism Policy
  • All manuscripts will be checked for plagiarism using “Turnitin” a reputable plagiarism detection tools. Plagiarism in any form (including self-plagiarism) above 15% will result in immediate rejection of the manuscript.
  1. AI Detection

Paragraphs should not have AI score above 20%.

  1. Publication Fee
  • For the first issue, the journal may waive any publication fees. Future issues may require an Article Processing Charge (APC) of Rs. 3000, which authors are required to pay after acceptance of the article. Editors can decide for the waiver to APC.
